Eastern Kindoms Exploration

Greetings,

the guide won't take me to all the places to explore the Eastern Kingdoms. The message I get from the guide is "You have not explored all of Eastern Kingdoms". It just keeps looping to that message. the areas that it is skipping are:

1) Explore Westfall
2) Explore Redridge Mountains
3) Explore Duskwood
4) Explore Northern Stranglethorn
5) Explore Deadwind Pass

Thanks in advance if you can fix this, I'd like to finish up getting the Explorer title today if possible.

When you are in game and open the guide selection window (small drop down arrow on guide viewer) what does it display in the lower left corner for the version number?

Try doing the following to see if it fixes it for you.

1. Exit WoW
2. Go to your WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder in there
3. Go to your WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. Run the Zygor Updater and install a fresh copy of the guide files

We'll have to check on this to see if we can reproduce it. You should be able to go into the guide viewer options and check the box to disable step progression and that will stop the guide from automatically advancing. At that point you should be able to load up the guide to step 1 and manually step thru and get to those areas.

thanks I'll try that. There seems to be several bugs with getting the explorer title which I'll try and continue to work through while you folks are working on the guide. Thanks in advance for the help; you guys have the best customer support out there.

You're having problems with it skipping areas? Have you explored those areas with a different toon at some point?

Hi there,

Apologies for the necro but i am having a similar issue where it just wizzes past everything, probably as you mentioned because i have completed the achievement on another toon, is there a way around this other than disabled automatic step progression? as that is tedious at best as some of the steps have been completed by the toon in question.

Right now the only way around it is disabling the step progression. Since Blizzard only tells us if you completed it based on the account-wide status we have no way of knowing what parts your current toon may have completed.
