    No that is not what i am saying. I can see it and have loaded it and have synced it but when i go into the game all i get is this:

        I just tried on darrowmere and it works.

        And now i just tried twisting nether again and it is working. So weird. Ill keep an eye on it and if it messes up again ill be back.

          Sorry if I am being dense here but I am a new user of the gold module and I am having the same problem of getting the no historical data message and not being able to figure out how to rescan. I've read through this thread but the various screens shown look nothing like what I am seeing. I'm wondering if this thread is out of date. My version of the client is 6.0.14546.

            Open up the desktop client (what you used to install the guides) and click the gear icon in the bottom right. Now go into the gold guide section of the settings and setup your realm on the right side and click the Sync All button. That will get you the historical data you need.

              If I open the desktop client what I see along the bottom, from left to right, is Settings, Refresh, Repair, and, on the far right, Launch WoW. No gear.

              What am I missing here?

                You're using the old client. Update to the new Java client found in the Download section of the Members area.

                    hi i don know if could help this info, i do have this error of historical data, and i just try to update with the client, and it shoe me a message that say, "you do not have eaither world of warcraft or world of warcraft beta gudes enebled for updates. enable one of them to enable ah dta update.

                    i serched the options but didnt find were to enable it. any clue?

                      When you are looking at the main desktop client window in the middle it lists WoW and WoW (beta). To the right side of those is a box. Make the box orange and that will enable it.
