Update required 11/01/2017

Just a heads up new patch was launched today so an update is required asap since it no longer works at all as when i went to log in this morning to WOW and got incompatible with game servers please fix asap

You can open the Addons listing at the character selection window and check the "Load out of date Addons" box at the top right of that window. That will allow the guides to load and work until we release an update.

I would do that if i could log in at all, using the guide log in system I get as far as choosing a server and it says "incompatilbe" therefore Trying to use the old versions is not possible

Where does it say the message about being "incompatible"? Could you possibly post a screenshot?

That is not something being caused by the guides. When I logged in today I saw a message about Blizzard users possibly having connectivity issues. I'm thinking this is what you are seeing. Try using the battle.net launcher to enter the game and see if that works for you. There might be a small update that it needs to download.

Battle.Net works fine but not with the guide

That sounds like you have 2 game installs and the client is trying to run the wrong one. Open up your battle.net launcher and click on Options (just below the word Games) and then select Game Settings. Now on the new window that opens up click on Game Install/Update on the left and let me know what it shows for the WoW folder setting (not the default install directory setting, I need the folder used for game play).

as soon as you pointed it out i went and looked and low and behold there was two installs I have now got the guides running though the right install and it works thanks anyway!
