Move Dungeon map?

How do you move the dungeon preview map around?

Right now it can't be moved. We are just showing you one of the Blizzard maps and you normally can't move them.

I need to install MoveAnything as it is blocking party frames.

Then how do we turn it off without disabling the guide entirely?

If you want to disable the ability to open the dungeon map you can do that in the bottom of the Navigation section of the guide viewer settings.

Also, for some reason it's only my mage, and only SFK for the holiday that it keeps happening. I did Scarlet halls, map didn't show up, did SFK on other toons, no map.

You had disabled the map preview before entering the dungeon and clicking on the icon to show the map? If it's 'stuck' on then try enabling the map preview section again and set a duration so that way it will automatically close the preview map and then you can disable it again and it shouldn't show up anymore.

I made sure it was disabled, then got into a dungeon and it STILL came up. I enabled and set the timer, but instead of it just going away, it would just re-flash every 3 seconds. If I did manage to click it off, it came back up after a boss fight.

Have you tested with all other addons disabled to see if that is causing it to appear when it shouldn't be? So far you're the only one that has reported it as showing up even when disabled so I'm thinking this might be specific to your addons and game settings for what's causing it.

I have the same problem. The map pops up near the middle of the screen and blocks too much screen real estate. I can't move or resize the map. I can close it but then it pops back up again. I found the check mark in the Navigation section and unchecked it but that doesn't work as the map still automatically opens.

I've done all the troubleshooting things you've suggested and I'm still having the problem with the blasted dungeon map stuck and sitting over the player frames. It's a total pain in the butt!

When you are in a dungeon and the map is open you can close it with the normal M map key. What we are displaying is the normal Blizzard map for inside the dungeon, just without the borders. If you close the map with M and then open it with M again then you'll see the map with the normal Blizzard border and you should be able to use the border to drag the map around to re-position it.

Doesn't work. Took a break from WoW but started again and first dungeon I went into (after doing all the newest Zygor updates) map popped up, and nothing worked. I just went into the program folder and deleted the dungeon guide, it's the only one I never like using anyway, and the map STILL pops up!

As stated, you can close it with the normal map key. If you changed that keybind to some other key you will need to use the key you changed it to. The dungeon map has nothing to do with the dungeon guides so deleting those guide files will not affect that map popping up. If you don't want it to open when you enter the dungeon then go into the guide viewer settings and in the Navigation section (believe that was it) at the bottom is the section for controlling the dungeon map. Change the one setting from automatic to manual and then it will only open up when you click on the map icon where the arrow normally is showing.
