Auto-equip messing with tabards

When the guide tells me to use one of the Org tabards (eg Cloak of Coordination) to port to Org with "Auto-equip recommended gear upgrades" selected, then I cannot use the cloak as it keeps getting replaced by the auto-equip. Need a workaround for this, short of having the user deselecting the auto-equip.

You can't click on the arrow icon for the cloak to use the teleport without equipping it?

The tabard has to be equipped to use it.

You click on the arrow which equips it, and then auto-equip kicks in and equips the other tabard before you can do anything.

It's easy to replicate by using the Love is in the Air dailies guide.

We'll have to check into it. You should be able to work around this by disabling the auto-equip of the gear system and just let it do the popups that you can then accept to equip the new gear.
