So I know how the gold guide works and went to click on the little gear on the client right? The button doesn't work. I tried reinstalling the client, shutting it down and bringing it back up, doing the scan&repair deal. I've got nothing so far. While it's not super important that it works right now but I'd very much like to be able to get it fixed soon. Thanks for any and all help!!

Client Settings Button Doesn't Work

Try uninstalling Java, and then deleting any leftover Java folders in the Program Files and Program Files (x86) folders. Then grab a fresh copy of Java from www.java.com and restart the computer after reinstalling Java.Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:

Interesting. You're completely exiting out of the client when you restart it, yeah? By default, at least, the X button will only minimize the client to the tray. You need to select Exit from the tray icon to completely close it down.
If you're doing that already, then disregard of course.
Do other buttons on the client work correctly? It sounds as if they do if you're able to click the wrench icon to get to Scan & Repair. The Event Log button should transition the bottom right panel, changelog button opens up your browser to http://zygorguides.com/archive, etc? I'm curious as to what's so special about the Settings button that is making it not work.
If you're unable to resolve this, could you send in a log file to support@zygorguides.com? You can find your log files by right clicking your tray icon, and selcting Open log. I'd be interested in 3.2.226.txt.
