Navigation Arrow Issue in Dalaran - Shows Destination Unreachable

Since the 7.2 update, with both the standard and beta guides, the navigation arrow shows Destination Unreachable for anything - world quests, steps in any of the levelling guides, etc. It seems fine outside of Dalaran, it only occurs in Dalaran. 2017-03-30_14-04-25.png

One thing I noticed is this only occurs if you start in Dalaran. If a step includes going to Dalaran (such as hearthing back to Dalaran), it is fine.

If you have both normal and beta guides enabled at the same time you will get a lot of bugs. Please disable one of them.

That didn't address the issue at all. I don't have them both enabled. I mentioned that it occurs in both.

Have you tried disabling all other addons to see if there is an addon conflict causing this?

Since 7.2: [Uninstalled reinstalled no other addons BUT ZYGOR].
What happens?
The waypoints are just dots on the minimap you walk over them ride over them and nothing happens.
Cannot click on the waypoints anymore to prompt the waypoint arrow.
No more flying directions!
No more suggestion for Flight Master's whistle!

Ok the above is now tentatively fixed. But still no flight masters whistle suggestions. After a few phone calls I found out ZYGOR uninstall does not touch the files in the WTF Folder. (WTF how appropriate) So from what I understand, unless these files are deleted nothing changes! since DELETING these files everything appears to be working.

Example. My character is outside the halls of valor. I selected a WQ in Hyrdshal. And instead of suggesting Whistle to Greywatch and fly to Hyrdshal FP. I have a waypoint arrow telling me to head 1.6km in that direction. even when you get to the nearest FP there is no highlight of the desired destination FP.

ZYGOR used to be the Gold standard. I have now stopped recommending this guide. If this continues I may follow the path of others to the competition.

If you deleted the Zygor files in the WTF folder (while probably needed to help with a bad setting) that will cause the travel system to no longer know what flight points you have learned/available until you visit a flight master on that continent and open the flight map. So without knowing what flight points you know it will not try to have you take any flights.

Way ahead of you on that. Did all that before I posted. Any other points?

Correct me if I am wrong but it appears your customers are crying foul telling you things are not working for them and you are tell them they are wrong?

Not once have we said the customers are wrong, but when we are unable to reproduce the problems someone reports we have to go on the basis that there is something specific in their game/addon setup that is causing the problem and not something that needs to be fixed in the code. Take the OP and 2nd poster for example. I can stand around in Dalaran all day long changing guides and steps and never get told the destination is unreachable. I'm using the exact same guide files that are downloaded to their computers and 2 or 3 people out of the thousands of customers also indicates it's something specific to those computers. In this kind of instance we try to go thru basic troubleshooting to see if we can figure out what is causing the problem for these individuals. In your case oldbuster you even said that the problems you were experiencing (with the exception of the flight whistle) were resolved once you cleared the Zygor files in the WTF folder and started over with fresh settings files. Since no one else has been reporting problems with the flight whistle I have to go on the basis that there is still something else on your system that is giving you a problem with it. I've been in game testing and I get prompted to use the flight whistle as part of my route to go from Suramar to Aszuna and since I'm using customer files it should be working for you too.

Try this for a test.


1. Exit the game
2. Go to your WoW/Cache folder and delete everything in there
3. Go to your WoW folder and rename the Interface and WTF folders to Interface.Old and WTF.Old
4. Run the Zygor desktop client, click the refresh button in the top right, and then click on the Install button
5. Go in game to test and then let me know if that fixed it

I am actually having the exact same problem... I deleted everything in the cache folder. Didn't fix the issue. I think it's no coincidence that another user has the same problem. And I don't think that deleting the Addons and WTF folders is a viable solution. I really don't want to delete and reinstall and reconfigure all my addons because of Zygor-addon.

We are aware of the problem with the Azsuna guide and working on getting that fixed. All of the other guides should be working and not giving a destination unreachable error.

I am having the same issues with the destination unreachable errors. I have done everything that has been mention here, even a clean uninstall. I had no addons running and still got the errors. Is there a fix coming for this? I pay monthly for this and am ready to kill that and uninstall Zygor completely.

A fix for the problems from this April thread were already released. Where exactly are you having problems with seeing destination unreachable?

Everywhere but within Legion areas. Just this morning I was doing Warlords dungeons and I got the same errors. If I'm in Dalaran and try to go somewhere using the guide other than within Legion, I get the same errors.
