Improving on History

Hey,

I've completed the "Class Order Hall Quests" & "Balance of Power" guide but i didn't received the "Improving on History" achievement.

Whats wrong ?

Load up the guides and go thru them again to make sure nothing was missed.

Do you have any quests in your quest log? When you did the quests for in the dungeons did you do mythic or normal dungeons?

I've raid and dungeons quests in my log, but I think no one is related to both of the guides. whenever a dungeons or raid quest were needed during go through the guides I followed the quest description and successfully completed the quests afterwards. Is there any log or history where you or I can check if all requirements were done and it is maybe a bug by blizzard?

We do not have any way of checking the specific quests easily for completion. The only way to check that would be with the Balance of Power guide and manually stepping thru 1 step at a time (hold Ctrl + Alt to step forward without any skipping) and check for any red lines anywhere.

As for the raid and dungeon quests they might be the key. I know there are raids and dungeons that are part of the quest chain so maybe one of them needs to be completed yet for it. Try completing any Legion raid and dungeon quests that are in your log and see if that completes the achievement for you.

I cleared my quest log by doing all dungeon quests and available lfr raid quests but nothing changes.
I'm currently still on the following quests:
Talisman of the Shal'dorei
The Emerald Nightmare: Piercing the Veil (normal)
The Emerald Nightmare: Piercing the Veil (heroic)
Trial of Valor: The Lost Army
Into the Nighthold
The Nighthold: Delusions of Grandeur
And the Feral & Guardian Artifact Challenges
An Impossible Foe
The Highlord's Return

The Zygor Guide tells me the progress for following guides in Leveling Legion:
Legion Intro & Artifacts: 17% - But if I start the guide, it tells me "You've reached the end of the current guide" - no step is missing
Azsuna: 100%
Val'sharah: 100%
Highmountain: 100%
Stormheim: 100%
Suramar: 100%
Order Hall Quests: 13% - But if I start the guide, "Congratulations! You completed your Class Hall campaign!" - no step is missing
Balance of Power Questline (BETA): 100% - no step is missing
Artifact Knowledge 1-25: 0% - I don't know why you call this a guide, it tells you only buy "...Compendiums"
Broken Shore Campaign: 90% - if I start the guide it reached the end with "More content coming soon!" - no step is missing
Legion Invasions: 31% - completed multiple times if invasions are in progress
7.2 Order Hall Quests: 24% - I reached the end: "More content coming soon!" two times with two specs (feral/guardian) - no step is missing

I tried to go step by step through every guide, but can't find any red or "not-done" quest or step

I unlocked all artifact weapon traits of both specs & reached revered reputation with all Legion Factions.

Ok, I think I've figured it out. With that Balance of Power guide still in the beta stage it's not completed yet. It stops with the Essence of Power quest which is only about half way thru the whole quest chain. You need to complete the Into the Nighthold and The Nighthold: Delusions of Grandeur quests that are still in your logs. After that Kalec should give you The Nighthold: Darkness Calls, then once that's done Kalec will give you the Balance of Power quest to end the chain.

yes, this is what I just figured out right now by connecting my battle account with wowhead and research which quests missing in questline mentioned in the comments on wowhead for the achievement Improving on History

After reviewing the latest update 6.1.16030 & 6.1.16032 I found 2 additional typos in the Balance of Power Questline Guide:
Step 73 shows "Got Trilliax Core (5/1)" to me, but I only received 1 which is also the required amount by the Quest
Step 75 suggest to only get 1 Nightshard but you have to loot 20 of them which is required by this Quest
