Keeps updating pricing on two realms

About every 10 mins it says Zygor guide updating pricing on Proudmoore or Ghostlands - help!

It should only be doing that once per hour for each server. If that is what it is doing you can turn off those notifications in the Notifications section of the client settings. If it's updating faster than the once per hour then try exiting out of the client completely and restarting the client.

You no longer need to perform any scans in game, that data is now provided via the client, but as a result the data will be downloaded much more frequently. Depending on the region you play in it may update faster. Generally the Asian servers update every 11 mins so if you don't want notifications to appear that frequently you can do as Zygor Support said and disable them in the Options under Notifications and uncheck "New gold guide data has been downloaded."
