Zygor and 7.3 release

Haven't heard any talk about Zygor supporting 7.3 patch next week. Can we expect an update for the new content so we can hit the ground running come next Tuesday?

We will be updating the addon to be compatible with the patch on Tuesday. As for new content, we've done as much preliminary work on the PTR as we could. We did encounter a lot of map issues on PTR, so we're a bit surprised they're already releasing 7.3 to the public. We expect there must be additional updates in the public release that will fix the mapping issues, and allow us to make the guides fully ready to use. So to recap:

-Addon will be updated to be compatibile with patch 7.3 by Tuesday (This will allow you to continue using all existing guides.)
- New patch 7.3 content will be added to the guides, but may require some time to resolve mapping issues that weren't fixed yet on PTR.

I don't see anything about 7.3 in 6.1.16524 and the patch is live?

16524 was released last week. It would not have any 7.3 content in that patch. As Zygor Admin stated above, "New patch 7.3 content will be added to the guides, but may require some time to resolve mapping issues that weren't fixed yet on PTR." This means that the 7.3 content might not be able to be released today depending on what changes we need to make to the guides to make sure they are working on the live servers.

So its essentially worthless, since we will have the content done before the update is pushed. Glad im paying for this.

We have released the 7.3 guides now. Please make sure to update your guides so you have version 6.1.16557 or later.

i have that version and no new guides are loading in game. they all say not found

Try restarting the game to see if that helps. If it doesn't then exit the game and use the wrench icon on the desktop client to reinstall the guides.

I reinstalled with the desktop client and have the same issue. I click argus in the guides and it says Cannot find Guide. But the world quest guides are working in the new zones.

Looks like it should be "Argus Campaign" not "Argus" wherever that link is (improperly) configured.

OK yes - as a temporary work around, if you feel like getting into the files and messing around:

C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\ZygorGuidesViewer\Guides \Leveling\ZygorLevelingAllianceLEGION.lua

Find the line that says "ZygorGuidesViewer:RegisterGuide("Zygor's Leveling Guides\\Legion (100-110)\\Argus Campaign",{" (line 41337) and change it to just say "Argus" at the end, instead of "Argus Campaign", save the file, and then the link will work and the guides will load.

Ah, we'll get that link fixed. For now you can type Argus in the search bar at the top of the guide selection window and that will show you the Argus Campaign guide that you can load.
