Professions for Legion?

I was planning on purchasing the profession guide for jewelcrafting and alchemy in legion, up to 800.
Is there any reason to purchase the guide if chars are already 700/720 in jewl/alch?

There are two professions guides for each profession in Legion, one that takes you around to get everything unlocked properly so you can get the higher ranks of recipes and one for the leveling process to get to 800 skill. You will have to do the unlocks to get to 800 so if you don't know where or how to do that on your own then you may want the guides.
