Extra Content in steps?

I've been getting this extra content in my steps on all my toons and different things for them. It is annoying as hell. Don't remember turning anything on. Want it gone, or disabled.

Image from DH has a treasure chest
image from Lock has Rare called out.

Those are POI steps from clicking on the map icons. You should be able to right click the step and cancel tracking that POI.

Aha I do remember turning on the POI function, did not realize that was it. Tried the right click but was only clicking the steps. DOH.
