Hallows End Achievement Guide

When following the hallow end achievement guide I am getting some errors.

- The quest does not auto advance when completing a step (the objective stays red) ("Visit the candy bucket in Tanaris, Bootleggers outpost" for example, when completing that part of the quest it stays red and doesnt advance)

- Some of the steps are "green" as in already completed, when in-fact they have NOT been completed.

Please advise.

The update for the event just went out today. Were you possibly still using the old guides from last year's event? Make sure your guides are updated to version 6.1.16882.

I have updated to version 6.1.16882, and restarted WoW. However, my Hallow's End Achievement guide is still showing all the buckets as green from years past, even though I have not completed them this year. Is there any way to reset this as it speeds through them all to the end?

If it's showing them all green and skipping them that means the game server is telling the guide viewer that you completed them, or there is some odd addon conflict preventing the guide viewer from getting the proper info from the game server. Try disabling all other addons to see if it still marks them all as green and if it does then the only thing you can do is to manually back up the steps.

Yeah update went out after I started for the day, re-logging wow fixed the guide. Thanks.

No dice. Still showing as I have done all of them. Tried turning off all other addons. I even tried reinstalling Zygor. Thanks though.

As Zygor relies on the game server record for your completion, then it is correctly showing them as complete.
What we actually need is a way for zygor to ignore the server data and allow us to step through the guide to re-do the candy buckets again. The only way I have found to do this currently is just to manually use the next/previous step arrows. It's cumbersome but does work.

Ahh, this is what I came here to see. Shame about the server side info messing this up At least with the auto flight and accept quest options, it's still a relatively quick process through all these buckets
