Scanning page 3/74 on EVERY SELL

When I hit an item and want to list it the guide ALWAYS starts a scan of that item. I get it, to show current data.

But I don't really care to get current data on something so cheap (broken teeth for example). The historic data is good enough.

I wish there was a way to turn off the scan. I can't even interrupt it. Clicking on another item leaves you stuck waiting for a full scan of that item, even if you don't want to sell it. Sometimes the next item below comes up (skinning knife for example) and it does a full scan on it as well.

It would be better (for me) to be able to hit "live prices" when I actually care, otherwise use historical pricing.

I just re-started playing a few days ago - and this problem makes the auction plug-in unusable for me. I can go 1, up to a few items and then I will see the line "Scanning: All auctions (scanning next item)... - and it SITS there. I let it sit for 15 mins plug and it never changed. It eventually timed my toon out and went back to the player menu. I have fast bandwidth and a decently fast computer (Most graphic settings at High and with a good frame rate) so I don't think it's my system. I had deactivated all auction type plugins and still getting the same.

At this point, I have turned off the Auction section and am using Auctioneer. I like the Zygor Sell tab, if it worked for me.

I support this idea. It would be an extreme benefit to the addon if this was implemented.

If you allow the desktop client to run in the background it will download hourly scan data. Then when you want to work with the gold guide just reload the UI to make sure the latest data is loaded and you will not need to scan the AH.
