Class Hall Quests

Last night I got a quest to complete a class hall quest with my followers. Zygor Guides showed me that the quest would take 4 hours. How do I safely skip that 4-hr Follower quest so I can do other quests while I wait for the 4-hr Follower quest to complete?

The best way to skip something like that is to load up a different guide and go do something else. If you are not 110 yet then go back to leveling for 4 hours until that follower mission is done. If you're 110 you could make sure you've completed Suramar zone, or work on a profession, maybe go after an achievement or two, etc.

OK. So I'm not level 110 and I do want to go back to leveling.

In that case, Zygor has me on the Class Hall quest that is going to take 4 hours. So in Zygor, I just click the Next arrow to go to the next quest and I'm good to go?

No, you can't really skip the wait. You have to wait for the follower missions to finish before you can move on in the guide. That is why the suggestion to load up a different guide until the mission is completed.
