    Classic WoW

So with the announcement of the new classic servers, will there be a guide for 1-60 released? I would hope you have that OG file somewhere yeah?

There are too many unknowns about the classic servers at this time to be able to answer this question properly. We will not be able to make any determinations until we are able to see exactly how the classic servers are implemented.

You dont want to use that OG file as it still makes you grind levels. The guide should be re written to allow you to quest smoothly from 1 - 60 without grinding. In the old 1.2.1 guide it makes you grind from like 61 - 62 and so on. Needs to be a full smooth questing experience in order for me and or others to buy I feel, if the guide has grinding in it well then whats the point.

Right now the announcement from Blizzard is pretty vague on details. It's more of a "we're working on this", at the present stage. As Cabby pointed out, we will need to see what "Classic WoW" entails before we can begin offering details on our update plans.

Vanilla wow is not the same as today's wow. I don't know of any written guide for vanilla that did not involve grinding. I know every single time adopting a mentality of killing everything in your path as you quest was a good idea. There simply aren't enough quests available in each area to allow quest-only progression, at least not efficiently.

Tunagirll is correct. Even in Wrath of the Lich King there were still points in the leveling progression where you would have to stop and grind mobs for about a half level to be able to unlock more quests to use for leveling. It wasn't until the Cataclysm re-vamp of the 1-60 zones that we were able to stop all of the mob grinding as Blizzard actually added more quests to those zones to help eliminate the need to grind.

Also doobie2012 is a bit mistaken on his statement. We never had a 1.12.1 (assuming that is the number he/she meant to type) guide. Our first in-game guide release was about a month or two before Lich King came out.

Smile I am excited about Classic WOW

I didn't use a leveling guide in Vanilla, then a leveling guide came out, so I bought one, it wasn't Zygor, but I liked it. That guide promised us unlimited upgrades, but then wanted money for XPACs, it folded.

Then I discovered Zygor, it is a much better guide and keeps improving, and I have been a long time customer. And reasonably happy.

There are some bugs but I know how to live with them.

I am looking forward to a Zygor Guide for Classic.
