So with the announcement of the new classic servers, will there be a guide for 1-60 released? I would hope you have that OG file somewhere yeah?

There are too many unknowns about the classic servers at this time to be able to answer this question properly. We will not be able to make any determinations until we are able to see exactly how the classic servers are implemented.Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:

The guide should be re written to allow you to quest smoothly from 1 - 60 without grinding. In the old 1.2.1 guide it makes you grind from like 61 - 62 and so on. Needs to be a full smooth questing experience in order for me and or others to buy I feel, if the guide has grinding in it well then whats the point.

Tunagirll is correct. Even in Wrath of the Lich King there were still points in the leveling progression where you would have to stop and grind mobs for about a half level to be able to unlock more quests to use for leveling. It wasn't until the Cataclysm re-vamp of the 1-60 zones that we were able to stop all of the mob grinding as Blizzard actually added more quests to those zones to help eliminate the need to grind.
Also doobie2012 is a bit mistaken on his statement. We never had a 1.12.1 (assuming that is the number he/she meant to type) guide. Our first in-game guide release was about a month or two before Lich King came out.Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:

I am excited about Classic WOW
I didn't use a leveling guide in Vanilla, then a leveling guide came out, so I bought one, it wasn't Zygor, but I liked it. That guide promised us unlimited upgrades, but then wanted money for XPACs, it folded.
Then I discovered Zygor, it is a much better guide and keeps improving, and I have been a long time customer. And reasonably happy.
There are some bugs but I know how to live with them.
I am looking forward to a Zygor Guide for Classic.Last edited by jack_wow; November 14, 2017, 02:39 PM.

During Vanilla a lot of people used Thottbott for their questing needs, yes it was an external website, but wowhead hadn't really started at that stage, also a lot of people didn't know or understand how addons worked back then. They also weren't as friendly to setup as the addons are nowadays.
I still remember using a combination of Monkey Quest, researching Thottbott and Cosmos addon kit to get me going.. Man those were some tough times, the screenshots I have paint the picture very well.
