Zygor Vs Pawn

I'm wondering why these two Add Ons often disagree with whats best for a given role?

I am still a newb (returnee) of Wow and am relying 'for now', on getting info from these two as i level.

Zygor seems to think an STR boost on two rings I have wins out over a STA boost for my Protection Pally.

I would say Zygor is wrong in this?

Can anyone shed any light as to why I would trust Zygor over Pawn, this does seem to happen fairly regularly even though both addons 'weights' are very similar.

Zygor and Pawn use 2 different stat weights which is why you will see differences in the item suggestions. Zygor stat weights are designed for better solo questing and survivability while Pawn stat weights are for end game raiding.

Might be worth noting that you can import PAWN strings into zygor.

how is this done?

Copy the string for Pawn or use the export option with Pawn in game. Then in the guide viewer settings in the section with the stat weights at the bottom paste that string into the box and click on the Import button.
