proffesion guide needs a serious update

i have been leveling different proffesions amongst my xx number of alt's lately and daaaamn zygor you so need to take a deep cleaning 7 refresh of the prof guides.. it so wrong so say its gone high wire... its worse than that...
ex: mining / smelting guide ref jewelcrafting.. check the way smelting are done,, its a mess... im talking 1-600 lvl...
another ex... and this is kinda fun thinking ppl are trying to follow the arrow like a goat...

I agree in general. Several farming guides are wrong or out of date.

Example: Runecloth. the Twilight cultists are now level scaled up to 110 and no longer drop runecloth.

There were other herb farming guides that weren't that good either (better farming spots than was suggested).

Can someone from Zygor please comment?

I'm unable to find any info anywhere that states the Runecloth no longer drops from those Twilight mobs. I only see info that says they now scale to your level but nothing about loot drop changes for them.

I want to agree with the initial statement:
The Level 1 - 600 guides on almost all professions are kinda boring, and for the most part it is blizzards fault.

Taking fishing for example: Yes, you can fish level 1 to 600 just standing in one spot in Stormwind - and you can just buy the second to last fishing rod at around fishing 200 - 300. OR you could get an awesome fishing rod at lvl 60 and fishing 200 from a quest in Shattrath City. And by doing your fishing in Margoss's Retreat in Dalaran will net you some profitable fishes. Maybe integrate these changes, make the guide level 100+ and mark it Legion?

Ah, and something that might be more complex to program: Leveling Mining 1-600. The Mining Route in the Jade Forest is quit decent and a lot more profitable than the fishing in Stormwind
However, using the Gold Guide, there are a few options that beat this route by a large margin (depending on server of course): Mining in Broken Island, obviously, but also something like the Titanium / Saronite Ore Route in Icecrown can make a lot of gold. Well, at least a notification at the beginning of the mining leveling guide to have a look at profitable ore in zygor gold would come a long way - so everyone knows that the option is there.

The issue is that Silithis is now phased depending on where you are with the new Legion story line. If you continued the story then going to Silithis now phases the zone to a Legion zone, scaling mobs to 110. If you haven't progressed the story line then the Twilight mobs are only scaled to level 60 and still drop Runecloth. I can confirm this as I went to the zone on both a main that has progressed the story line and an alt that has not. I see 2 different versions of Silithis.

Ok, we'll check into that to see what we can come up with to compensate for the phased aspect of the zone.

There is an NPC (I think his name is Zidormi) in the NE corner of the Silithis Map by the Un'goro Crater entrance that will phase the zone back to the old zone.

We will be adding that NPC into the guide to direct people to him to change the zone phase for farming if needed.
