World Map Treasure / Rare " Golden Arrow " Issue

Hey ya'll! I've been using this guide for a bit now I'm new but a vet to WoW 10+yr player. Atm I'm having an issue with the world map glitching with golden arrows instead of the intended Icons used for this guide.

I was wondering if there was a setting or fix for this or if there were any known conflicts with other addons, I'm not using handynotes or anything else that is for Treasure/Rare tracking. I have SexyMap addon , but I can't see that messing with anything for the World Maps.

We don't have any known issues right now but it might be some minor addon conflict causing it. The best way to test would be to disable all other addons leaving only Zygor running and then check to see if everything looks normal with the map. If it does then re-enable your other addons one by one checking the map after each one to see if the oddity comes back and if it does then you'll know which addon seems to be messing with things. A lot of the time any addon can conflict in odd ways with other addons so it might not necessarily be a map related addon that's messing with it.

I am having the same issue that started today. The treasures and rare tracking for Draenor have all turned to golden arrows. I have disabled all addons and it still doesn't work correctly.

Have you tried reinstalling the guides?

Also I take it that the picture you posted was with other addons still enabled since the title bar is skinned? Here's what I see when I look at that same map with all other addons disabled.

I did both and it's still having the same issue. Yes, I took this particular screenshot with a map addon enabled, but I assure you it's not other addons. It's definitely the guide map glitching

Try this for a test. You'll be able to put your addons back in place after the test by renaming the folders back if needed.


1. Exit the game
2. Go to your WoW/Cache folder and delete everything in there
3. Go to your WoW folder and rename the Interface and WTF folders to Interface.Old and WTF.Old
4. Run the Zygor desktop client, click the refresh button in the top right, and then click on the Install button
5. Go in game to test and then let me know if that fixed it
