What's with all the paths?

Leveling in Outlands...

My guide for my Death Knight is giving me a lot of paths to follow when going somewhere.

Follow this path 25 yards
Follow this path 31 yards
Follow this path 56 yards
Follow this path 45 yards
Follow this path 69 yards
Follow this path 135 yards
Follow this path 13 yards
etc.

I find this not only annoying but totally unnecessary. Amy way to turn them off?

Just make thee waypoint point to the destination with the proper distance.

My guides are completely upgraded at this point.

Things like that are for ground mounted players to help direct them to where they need to be. If you have flying unlocked and you are in the air then the guide will just point you to the final destination.

Oh, I forgot, you can click the icon on the guide viewer that looks like footprints and that will remove those lines from being shown in the guide viewer and it should also make the travel system ignore those lines as well.
