Unable to select guide in new patch

After todays zygor update I can no longer select what guide I want to use. It just has legion. Nothing else.
I have removed zygor completely and reinstalled and still got the problem.
On the home screen theres nothing on the left hand side where normally you can select levelling dungeons dailys or whatever.

Try doing a full guide wipe/reset.

    1. exit WoW
    2. go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
    3. go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
    4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
    5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

Deleting the files in savedvariables seems to have done the trick the menus are back.
      Thanks for the quick response.

Seems to be happening again. If I make some changes to zygor like disabling the travel system and the switch between alts etc the menu disapears again.
Deleting the files solves the problem still.

Hi, i have a similar problem, but only for 1 character. At least one of the others is fine. I deleted the files, as you listed above, and it still doesn't work. The home page is empty (not showing the categories, leveling, dungeons, etc.)

Make sure you are doing step 3. If you find an empty SavedVariables folder then you are not looking in the correct one. There are several SavedVariables folders in the WTF tree so double check what the step says and where you are looking.

You had been exited out of the game when you deleted those files? When you went back into the game after the fresh install it acted like the first time you installed the guides?

Yes, WoW and the Blizzard app were closed when I deleted the files. No, it did not act as if it were a fresh install of Zygor.

I redid everything today...same problem. Then I did it again, but this time I added a step. I searched for and deleted all Zygor files. I found about 8 other Zygor files to delete. I didn't check where they were, or when they were made. After deleting those files, Zygor acts like a new install.

And do you have proper guide selection again now?

Wanted to chime in and say I'm having the same issue.
I've reset all the guides per the posted instructions, changed all the settings back like I wanted and they worked fine until I had to reload my ui.
I reset them all again, changed settings yet again, and logged out to save.
Guides were missing once again when I logged in.
I also got this error when clicking on the Suggested guides option:
3x ZygorGuidesViewer\Guide-Guide.lua:89: bad argument #1 to 'ipairs' (table expected, got number)
                          [C]: ?
                          ZygorGuidesViewer\Guide-Guide.lua:89: in function <ZygorGuidesViewer\Guide.lua:87>
                          (tail call): ?

                          ZygorGuidesViewer\GuideMenuNew.lua:254: in function `FindSuggestedGuides'
                          ZygorGuidesViewer\GuideMenuNew.lua:273: in function `ShowSuggested'

                          ...rfaceZygorGuidesViewer\GuideMenuNew-View.lua:235: in function <...rfaceZygorGuidesViewer\GuideMenuNew-View.lua:235>

                          Locals:
                          (*temporary) = 200
(*temporary) = "table expected, got number"
                          = <function> defined =[C]:-1

Edit: If I uncheck "Use Travel System for directions" after I reset everything, it breaks it again. I log out of wow and edit the ZygorGuidesViewer.lua and change ["pathfinding"] under profiles from false to true and log back in, its back to working how it should again.

I am having this exact same issue. I have reset the entire guide three times, and every time it works until I change settings and reload the game.

                              @spiritwulf

Thank you for the note on how to fix this for real. I guess I won't uncheck that option until they fix the bug.
