    Game freezes and stop responding on auction scan

    Yo, ive had Zygor for a while now but the past 2 weeks i cant seem to get auction scan to work, it gets to 83 or 93% and stops there and my game freezes and then stops working.

    Ive followed a guide about clearing cache etc etc and that wont help.

    When you first open the Sell tab it should start to do a scan of items in your bags. You must wait for that to finish before trying to do the full scan. If it still keeps failing try disabling all other addons to see if that helps. And of course make sure you have the latest version of the guides installed.

      yea well thats when it freezes, as soon as i open AH and let it auto scan the game freezes. sorry for not adding that to the topic from beginning.

        Try this for a test.


        1. Exit the game
        2. Go to your WoW/Cache folder and delete everything in there
        3. Go to your WoW folder and rename the Interface and WTF folders to Interface.Old and WTF.Old
        4. Run the Zygor desktop client, click the refresh button in the top right, and then click on the Install button
        5. Go in game to test and then let me know if that fixed it

          I just bought into this guide for the gold guides and after initially having the same issues I followed the above. Didnt work at all! Still with only one addon, Zygor, installed it crashes the client @ aprox 87-97%
          Only possibility to resume is Alt+F4 out of wow and restart. When redoing the scan I get the exact same result.

            Do you have your realm setup in the client settings and have the AH data being downloaded? If so you do not need to do a full scan of the AH. With the desktop client running in the background while you play it will download hourly data and then when you want to work with the AH all you have to do is reload the UI to make sure the latest data is being used.

              Problem solved.
              Disabeling autoscan of AH, do a apraisal of your inventory,throttle down the speed of the AH-scan and then finally do a full scan.
              Im not intierly sure it will work for any one else, but it did for me.

              Then there's the official method one can use if you are more patient than me... just disable the auto scan and let the client do its thing in the background. In about an hour you ought to have a second AH scan point to start doing trend work for you.

                You don't actually need to wait an hour to get trend data. The desktop client downloads 2 data files for your server. One of them is hourly scan data for the current prices. The other one is the trend data (age shown in chat when you first log in) and that contains a rolling 30 day average pricing for items. The trend data is updated every 2 days and contains average low, normal, and high prices for items for the last 30 days.

                  Removing autoscan fixed freezes for me. Manual full scan doesent freeze
