[Level Guide Suggestion] Quest Search

I've used your guide from WOTLK until WOD, and for the most part, these expansions have been linear experiences for questing. However, with Legion, the questing system is very non-linear. I am now level 110 (thank you for your help), and on a series of quests for which I cannot find the guide. Adding the ability to search a quest in Zygor, and then loading up the associated guide would be handy.

Open the guide selection window and go into the Dungeon Guides > Legion Scenarios section and you should find the 3 guides we have for The Deaths of Chromie.

Could we get a complete list of quests the guide covers and where to locate them? My apologies if that sounds tedious, but it would be helpful.

Since it's 10's of thousands of quests in the guides for each faction I don't know if that would be even remotely possible to do. There are over 4000 guides for each faction and if each guide averages just a mere 10 quests per guide that is 40,000 quests for each faction.

Would it be possible to use the inguide search feature to search by quest name?

Right now that is only designed to search the guide names and a small description line for each guide that has some key words.

That I do not know and is something our dev team will need to discuss. I do know that if it were retrofitted to scan all of the guides for a specific quest that would most likely destroy any ideas of one day possibly reducing memory usage by making guides load on demand.

Final suggestion/thought then... Would it be possible to make the search system itself load on demand and unload it when not using it?

I truly do not know for that. I'm guessing that in order to move forward with different changes to the search system it will most likely need a re-think and re-write of how it does the searches and at that point it will be easier to also think about how to incorporate other searches such as for a quest. Will be one of those things the dev guys will have to brainstorm over for what can be done and how to do it.

This can be done very simply WITHOUT load all quest lines. Use list of all quest in text form (call this function database INDEX for example) and link into quest line. This can be simple searched without memory needs and help tons of frustrated players, who try find anything in this mess - because without search this "40000 quest" is totally mess.
