Why does it lag ? ?

So i really like Zygor , thats why i pay monthly for it haha but it annoys me.

I have a high spec PC , I7 7700k CPU and 32GB of LPX vengeance RAM

But it still lags ,

Moving around the guide , selecting certain things is always laggy and nothing loads instantly,there is always a kind of stutter before it loads
Upon completing any world quest in game causes a huge lag spike which takes like 3 seconds to return to normal

I have done the renaming WTF folder and Interface folder to WTF.old and Interface.old but that did not help

Why is Zygor so laggy and feels so buggy , i have checked and its only using 160mb of ram ingame

What can i try ?

When you renamed those folders did you also clear out the Cache folder?

Yes i did that , i have no disabled every other addon and am still getting this behaviour , its so annoying. why is it doing this ?

Just want to make sure I'm not misunderstanding something. You just said "i have no disabled every other addon". Do you mean you have other addons installed and enabled? If so did you install them again after renaming the Interface folder?

I've disabled all other add-ons, so it's only zygor running, I did this to make sure it was zygor to blame,and it is

Try this for a test.


1. Exit the game
2. Go to your WoW/Cache folder and delete everything in there
3. Go to your WoW folder and rename the Interface and WTF folders to Interface.Old and WTF.Old
4. Run the Zygor desktop client, click the refresh button in the top right, and then click on the Install button
5. Go in game to test and then let me know if that fixed it

When you do this then the only addon that will be installed is Zygor and it eliminates any possibility of other addon files causing an issue. The game will sometimes have some of the addon files loaded up even when the addon is disabled. Doing it this way should make the game act like a brand new install and the only addon you should see in the list is Zygor. At that point you then know you have a truly clean testing environment and there will be no doubt for if it is Zygor. After testing the folders can be renamed back to what they were in order to get all of your addons back in place.
