Do the loremaster guides follow the zones' storyline?

I'm about to do the Loremaster achievement and debating whether to use the guides or not. I feel like, if I use the guides, I might not really experience the lore/storyline of the zone if I'm doing quests in a different order. So do the guides follow the zone's storyline? The reason I'm asking is cause the reason I want to do loremaster is to experience the story of each zone, and I dont know if using the guides would hinder that.

They should be fine for being able to follow the zone story. It should not be jumping around and making you feel disconnected with the story.
