    Need Update Message but I am already current?

    What gives? The client is set to automatic updates, yet the message appears for each character without exception. SHould I nuke the cache?

    Try running the desktop client, click the refresh icon at the top right, and then use the wrench icon near the bottom right to reinstall the guides. That will not mess with your settings but should ensure that the license file is properly updated.

    I did before your response. For some reason the client showed it up to date, but when I reinstalled all was copacetic.

    This has been going on for the entire life of the current client. Scan and repair sometimes works but otherwise only a full scale hard reset and boot (big red switch)is going to fix it. I suspect an "easter egg" from whatever third world brogrammers built the client. Management is fully aware.

    Instead of doing a scan & repair do a reinstall. That will give you the same results as a computer restart without the restart.
