can't update guide

    can't update guide

    Hi all,

    Just tried to get the latest update and the launcher downloads the guide and says unzipping but doesn't actually update and now i can't access certain parts of the guide.

    Please help,

    Dwarf Warrior - 110
    Night Elf Demon Hunter - 110
    Night Elf Druid - 100

    Try opening the Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Escape) and in the Processes tab (pre-Win8) or the Details tab (Win8 or Win10) find the java.exe process that is running. When you find it end that process then try running the client again.

            The current problems are caused by our website responding slow. This is causing a time out when the client is trying to log in or get information. We are working on the website to restore the normal speed but you should eventually be able to get what you need with the client if you keep trying or wait a couple of hours to try again.

              Not sure if you knew this already, but the client is not installing anything other than the Data folder. I just reinstalled (after buying Elite again) and the client is not installing the addon, and I don't know where to find a manual download link.

              As previously reported, "a new guide update is available" and the Install buttons are the only options, and the wrench does not work. The wrench is not even clickable.

                Not a good day to resubscribe to Elite, but I didn't know about the website and client issues

                Oh well, I lose a day of my subscription, which in the grand scheme is not a big deal.

                  Same issue here. Tried the uninstaller but it says it is corrupted and unreadable.

                    Reinstalling the client won't work around the timing out problems but if you need a new uninstaller you can get it here. http://zygorguides.com/javaclient/dist/Uninstaller.exe


                    On a side note the forums seem to be responding better so you might have better luck with the client now.

                      Just wanted to update and also share that I am having the same issues. For reference, this is an image of what I'm seeing, it stays on this for about 30 seconds and then goes back to the second image. I have tried about 15-20 times at this point.

                        hello have the same proplem. Request for a quick fix. I do not have a guide anymore. No directory is created in the Adon folder. No files installed. It does not work anymore.

                          exactly the same problem, I am no longer a guide despite the solutions to propose further. Zygor can not be installed in the WoW addon file. the Zygor customer guide remains unanswered when I launch an installation.
