buying an i7 8700k and an gigabyte gaming 7 motherbord or a switch need help?

hi im thinking what i should do atm i have an i7 4790k cpu and asus mother bord im thinking of buying monday a i7 8700k and gigabyte gaming 7 mother bord or a switch with a pro controller to play mario kart. what should you guys do?

I'd save my money and not bother with either option. What you currently have is still in the top 10 for processors and you probably won't really be able to see the difference with the extra 2 cores. As for the switch, why spend the money when there are plenty of ways to play the games like Mario Kart on your computer?

i know but playing mario kart on pc with an emulator you can only play local online not multiplayer like on switch?i am going for something or for the i7 8700k and gigabyte gaming 7 mother bord or the switch if i go for the i7 8700k and gigabyte gaming 7 motherbord i sell my old i7 4790k to a friend and my old motherbord but i really seem to like mario kart im watching it all the time on twitch my last mario kart was on nintendo 64.
