Marked Step

I have a step in an achievement to kill a certain mob. The step is marked as completed and the background is green also displaying it as complete and I have not killed him yet. When I try to unmark the step it does not let me. Is this on purpose or is my UI broke.
I guess I'm asking, can I unmark a completed step, and if I can how do I do it.

Edit: And also, there are steps I have completed that aren't being automatically marked. When I mark them as completed they don't stay marked that way.

This happens when Blizzard changes around the order of the objectives for an achievement which makes the guide viewer think the objective is completed when it's not and vice verse. If you let us know which achievement guide it is we'll get it on our list to get fixed.

But to answer the question, no there really isn't anything you can do for the steps to make stuff show correctly.

Well, I asked about it in another post in just a different way. It is the "Bloody Rares" achievement so it's not a big deal. I was just hoping there was a way to uncheck/unmark the completed kills in the tracker that were erroneous. You answered my question and I can still use the guide, I was just curious about marking and unmarking steps. /Salute
