Points of Interest / Rare Spawn Not showing?

Heya, been using this guide since Legion! I love it. But I'm having a little issue here I would like to get a better understanding of and if its a settings issue or just a bug.

Since 8.0, Questing has been a pain but with Rare's in the world giving more than a quests worth of XP. Finding them and killing them as you level with the guide is all but a must! I'm in the lvl 30-60 range of leveling on my allied races, But I don't see any locations marked on the map for rare spawns locations on my map for any of the zones.

Any help here would be great!

Those POIs are only in the WoD and Legion zones right now. There are no POIs in the guide for the lower level zones. I do not know if/when they might be added.

Your best bet for finding the rares in the lower zones right now would be something like the NPC_Scan addon.

Okay, I figured that was the case. But just wanted to make sure it wasn't a mess up on my end. Hope they add them in the future would be nice to have them in general. Maybe they could be rolled into the questing guides for Rares that are near travel paths you'll already be taking.

Ok had no idea POI wasn't working in BFA, it was driving me crazy all week, as I use it to find the path for rare's & treasure.

My answer that you quoted was in response to POIs for the pre-WoD zones and leveling from 1-60 that was originally asked. It does also hold true right now since we have not release POI stuff for BfA yet, but that will be added soon. However I do not know if we will be adding any POI stuff for the pre-WoD zone and if we do add them I do not know when it will be.

Im not sure of any point of having POI for lvl 1-60, maybe for rare mobs, but I don't believe there are any treasures, well I have seen a few but not as much as current content. Please send you time on BFA.

Is there any ETA when the POI for BfA will be added? I do not see rare or treasures on the map / minimap. Using Handynotes atm to locate treasures.

The rares have already been added and should be visible on the map. If you are unable to see them try disabling all other addons to see if one of your other addons is blocking them from showing on the map. The treasures should be out with the next update.
