    Ant trails!

    Heya guys! I love the look of the new guides except for one itsy bitsy issue. I don't much like the ant trails. The dots are huge and cover up a lot of things like nodes, quest objectives and treasures. So far when I've been out and about leveling with friends they're constantly having to tell me to come back for a node. This would normally not be an issue since you can indeed turn off ant trails. However, as soon as you switch from one subzone to another it turns them right back on without any prompting at all.

    I didn't know if you guys were aware of this or not. I've tried to reinstall and all that but it didn't seem to help.

    That sounds like it might be a corrupted settings file. Try exiting the game, go to your WoW/WTF/Account/<your account name here>/SavedVariables folder, and delete the Zygor files in there.

        Or not. The first area switch seemed fine, and then the next the ant trails popped right back up again. I removed all of the saved variables from all of my accounts.

            In addition to the ant trails and markers hiding nodes, etc., I am having a difficult time clicking on the flight masters on the map (I often need to do little detours, and auto-flight master causes me to have to backtrack too much, so it's turned off). It's a veritable pixel-hunt to take a flight. Can we ask to choose opacity or size of the trails and markers, or anyone suggest a macro to turn them off and on?

              You can disable the map markers and ant trails in the Navigation section of the settings. I believe there is also still an option there to set how far apart the dots for the ant trail are.

                Hmm, there shouldn't be any map markers or ants on the flight maps that are used to actually take flights. The only thing we do on the flight map is make the flight path you need to fly to glow yellow, like here:

                  I just removed the ant trails and the map markers for now and that seems to have gotten rid of everything. Hopefully at some point you guys will be able to find a happy medium with the size of the map icons. Until then, I've gotten two of my characters to 120 with the guides so far! I am looking forward to the achievement guides now! <3
