Navigation Question

In the 'Navigation' menu in the settings, at the bottom, what does 'Duration' and 'Preview control' do?

That bottom section controls the smaller map that you can open in the instanced dungeons where the arrow doesn't work. Duration controls how long that map will show and if memory serves me correctly Preview controls if it will open automatically when you enter the dungeon or only when you click on the map icon that replaces the arrow.
