I've been running ElvUI without any issues. Only module for ElvUI I'm running is Shadow & Light. Try disabling any extra modules you might have for ElvUI to see how that works.

I used BenikUI for ElvUI.
Maybe worth testing since it's also very popular to use~

I also use ElvUi and BenikUI. The two work fine for me. But if i activate Project Azilroka the problem occurs. I investigated a little bit further and the solution for me was to deactivate the Square Minimap Buttons Module in the options of Project Azilroka. Than everything works fine for me.

I experienced heavy shuttering / FPS drops, but once I disabled all WQ-addons I don't experience it anymore.

Is anyone still have this issue with the newest version of the guides?

I hate to necro a thread, but this is the exact issue I'm having currently. Only happens when I'm using a guide to farm ore, currently Iron in Feralas. I've turned off every addon and only when Zygor is active do I get this stuttering every few seconds. I don't see any option to slow down route recalculation speed anywhere. Has there been any progress made on this issue yet?

Try doing a full guide reset.

1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/_retail_/Interface/Addons folder and delete any Zygor folders
3. go to the WoW/_retail_/WTF/Account/<your account name here>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game to test and see if that fixed it

I did that already. Was fine until I loaded up the Iron farming route.

Which game version are you playing? Which faction? And the exact name of the guide along with where you loaded it from in the guide selection window?

Game Version: Retail
Faction: Alliance
Guide: Professions > Mining > Farming Guides > Iron

I will say, if I close the guide, then reload ui, the issue is gone. It's only if I have the guide running, or if I close it and don't reload, it continues after the guide is closed.

Also, I noticed at the far south of the map in Feralas for this route, there seems to be another route line going straight east/west that isn't part of the actual cyclical route:

I have also been havining stuttering issue. But on TBC alliance. Mankrik server. Notice stuttering and high LUA errors in shat. Did reinstall mentioned a couple lines up. This seems like it is with the Shatterath cooking dailies guide.

rcsnowball have you tested with all other addons disabled to make sure there is no odd conflict happening?
