Dissappointed there are no speed leveling guides

Why are all the guides letting me do every single quest in each zone? Where did the speed leveling guides go? I'm following the guides for each zone now but there are so many slow quests that should really be skipped for faster leveling. I don't care about any achievements, I bought zygor to level the fastest way possible but right now that's not what this guide is doing.

If there really isn't a speed leveling guide anymore, then at least can you tell me which zones are the fastest to level in from 1-120 alliance & 1-120 horde?

All of them are the fastest. With the change to zone scaling for BfA all of the zones give you the same XP based on your current level. There are no longer better zones to level in and by staying in the zones doing all of the quests you are cutting out a lot of wasteful travel time hopping from one zone to another.

I'm sorry, but that's simply not true. The density of quests (i.e. less travel time) and mobs in Drustvar far exceeds that of the spread out Stormsong valley. It's also easier to level there first while you still have legendaries than try and go there later without them (information that has been provided by YouTube content creators, but is nowhere in sight from Zygor).

None of the speed levelers use the approach taken by the Zygor leveling guides. Serious optimization is needed. Aside from being slower the current approach is also xp overkill. I hit 120 on one toon before I'd even completed a third of the 2nd storyline which is extremely unfortunate and undesirable.

I don't think this is true at all, while I can't speak for BfA content because I'm not there yet, the earlier zones seem to be very different in terms of leveling speed.

Yesterday I hit 70 after almost finishing Grizzly Hills (spent a lot of time on some elites and failed anyway) and decided to go to icecrown but there I was tasked with flying all over the place, so I gave up. Then I decided to go to Hellsfire Peninsula, same story, flying all over the place. So maybe then, why not try Netherstorm, I hadn't been there for a while. The guide first asked me to spend 20 minutes following khadgars minion in shattrath and then in Netherstorm one of the first quests was an escort that took more than 15 minutes as well. I spend more than 30 minutes for just a couple of quests, that's not fast.

So I don't see how you can advertise your guide with this phrase "reach level 120 in the fastest time possible" (as seen on the leveling guide page) when that's absolutely not the case.

I understand you don't want to revamp all of your guides or spend time to actually bother with an actual speed leveling guide (which is a shame tbh) but can you at least add an option that ranks the zones based on how fast they are in your guide?

It took me like a day and a half played to hit 120 using the standard 110-120 guide on a druid.. that seems pretty fast to me.

People never cease to impress me with the whining

To be honest aside from the moving for you this feels the same as honorbuddy

Actually there are people doing it in 4-6 hours using the youtuber methods.

There needs to be a "fast leveling" vs. "completion" option.

It is noteworthy, however, that when you have a single linear path for all subscribers, we're bound to overlap a lot more. This should be taken into consideration in the guide as well. Like how Google diverts you around traffic. I'm not saying "real-time traffic" in a questing area, but if an area is known to have low spawn and/or a quest that is annoying, it should be "skipable" or "divertable". I don't understand why more "choice" isn't given in the speed leveling part of the guide.

Zygor is great for "completion" players, but it's no longer a viable "speed leveling" product. I'll keep my subscription, because I like the other features, but "fastest possible leveling experience" is currently NOT a truthful selling point for the latest expansion (and in many casses, at all) since the change to levels in zones.

I feel that Zygor spent years perfecting a "route" for us to take and, now that the game has mixed level zones, Zygor's developers have turned to just "making it work" in regards to this product.

In other words, big changes need to happen or Zygor really isn't worth it anymore. The Auction addon is bloated and hardly works as well as popular free alternatives. Newer free zone leveling guides with better routes exist now. At least a third of Zygor is outdated material that has little or no consequence.

Zygor's official name should be "Zygor Achievement Helper", because that's about as far as it goes currently. It's very good at helping you gain achievements, but again.. literally every other "feature" has a much, much better free alternative.

Looking forward to a HUGE update to Zygor before Christmas.. or I'm gone. I truly feel I won't be alone.

PS: Don't forget we're paying you.

Oh wow, this thread really making me second guess my next month sub. I was not aware reaching 120 in a matter of hours was possible :/ Definitely seems like zygor is missing an opportunity or something here. Any chance on a response?

At the end of the day zygor isnt 100% optimized but what it offers is worth WAY more than $8 bucks a month and still very much worth using for all of its features. Even loading up a dungeon guide just to find the fastest way to get to a dungeon entrance is sooooo helpful. The navigation tool alone is worth 8 bucks a month.

the fastest 1-120 leveling time is 11 hours that time is held by a streamer that is a professional speed leveler, most of the wow community is not a professional speed leveler, the method used to level that fast involves leveling exploits and a massive increase to the amount of exp you gain while leveling and heirloom items, the current fastest leveling time for shadowlands on beta after the leveling speed nerfs using a method by that speed leveler is 5 hours 50 mins on alliance chars to get to level 50 and over 6 and half hours on horde toons, the time its going to take to get to 60 has been increased quite a bit and its like 12 hours give or take total from 1-60, if you dont like the method on zygor dont use it i use zygor for the additional features not use the leveling guides, the daily planner is a god send. I have been using zygors guides for many years and never start a new toon without it.
