Zygor map icon reset position?

Hey all, is there a way to reset the Zygor map icon to its default position in game? I've tried the /zygor showmapbutton but it doesn't seem to reset the position. The icon is hidden under something and I can't see it currently.

You could try going into the guide viewer settings and in the Profile section try using the reset profile button. After clicking that you will need to reload the UI.

Hm, that didn't seem to work on resetting the position. It's still hidden under my bags and user bar (character/quest log, etc.)

Try disabling your UI addon so you can get to the minimap icon, drag it to the middle of your screen where you normally don't have anything to cover it, then re-enable your UI so you can position it where you want.

Hmm, I don't think any addon I have moved the position of the bags and player bar, I think the default UI from Blizzard did that? I logged on after the BfA launch and they were moved. I don't have any UI mods installed like ElvUI or Bartender, etc. Though I've read it's possible to install Bartender to move them back to their original position, but I was hoping there would be some way to restore the Zygor's icon without having to install a mod, get it working to move the bags/bar and then get my Zygor icon where I can see it and then remove Bartender?

Try doing a full guide wipe/reset.

1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it
