    Bug with Step count?

When going through almost any zone through the loremaster guide, the total number of steps seems to increase as I go. So I can start a place for 1/71, for example, but as I go it'll end up 10/80 and so forth. Anyone else having this problem?

That is normal as the guide sometimes loads more steps based on what you are doing.

Ok, thanks. Any way to have it just load everything up front?

        Not really, unfortunately.

That doesn't make any sense. All they should need to do is run a count function to get the total steps. Then compare that to the step the player is actually on. That's basic functionality in every modern programming language I use -- even Lua. This can even be expanded upon with a basic for loop... So, how is it not possible?

Because not every step is loaded for a guide when you select the guide. There are sometimes other steps that get added as you progress thru the guide.

It's very illogical and frustrating at times. I have seen it happen and I keep wondering if I am going mad ;-)
