Installer no longer runs related to Java RTE

Recently Oracle forced a start on the Java RTE installer. They suggested an uninstall due to numerous security reasons the tech has sustained. So I uninstalled JRTE. The launcher no longer runs.

Can you fix this? Have you considered using a third-party delivery platform like Twitch?

TL;DR I cannot update your guide from the launcher.

Try going into the members area and get the new client which does not require Java.
