Our guides have just been updated to version 2.0.736. In this release we have verified that all quest chains were tied together correctly, even "hidden" chains for levels 1-70 of the Alliance guide and 1-60 of the Horde guide. Check the Changelog for full details of changes.
How To Update:
1. You will need to update your guide. To do this, go to your AddOns directory:
For Windows XP:
C: \ Program Files \ World of Warcraft \ Interface \ AddOns
For Windows Vista:
C: \ Users \ Public \ Games \ World of Warcraft \ Interface \ AddOns
For Mac:
Macintosh HD \ Applications \ World of Warcraft \ Interface \ AddOns
2. Inside your AddOns folder, delete all folders with Cartographer or Zygor in the name.
3. Go to http://www.zygorguides.com and login to the Members Area.
4. Under Product Downloads, click the link to the product you want to download. On the download page, make sure it says version 2.0.706. If it doesn't, try hitting refresh. Then click the Download Now button and install the guide using the auto-installer.
5. IMPORTANT: Make sure the "Load Out of Date AddOns" box is checked at the top of your addon list before you enter the game with one of your characters.
If you encounter any problems after doing all of that, try one of these three troubleshooting tips:
Solution 1: If you are having trouble with Cartographer and the new Blizzard map and quest location system, make sure the "Show Quest Objectives" box is unchecked at the bottom of your world map ingame. This will make the map look normal again, like you are used to Cartographer making it look.
Solution 2: At the character selection screen, click addons, and disable all of the Cartographer addons EXCEPT Cartographer, Cartographer Waypoint, and Cartographer Notes and try again.
Solution 3: We recommend that you switch from Cartographer to TomTom for the time being (we are working on our own waypoint system so you won't have to rely on either of those addons soon). First thing you will want to do is go to your World of Warcraft / Interface / AddOns folder and delete everything with Cartographer in the name. Then head over to http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-a...ls/tomtom.aspx, download and install TomTom. At the character selection screen, click AddOns and make sure TomTom is checked and Load out of date addons is also checked at the top right. Then go in game, right click the Z icon on the mini map, click the "+" symbol after ZygorGuidesViewer, click waypoints, and where it says Wapointing addons switch it to TomTom.
