Earlier this year we introduced the User Feedback section and already we’ve tackled some of the top submissions including the request to bring back guides for The Elder Scrolls Online<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Today we are pleased to announce another one of the top suggestions has been made to the guides. Beginning with the Draenor expansion we started adding more precise walking directions to direct players around the game world, which was especially helpful for intricate, hard to reach places. However, once players achieved the Draenor Pathfinder achievement and could fly in Draenor these steps were no longer required.<\/p>\n

One of the most requested changes was to make the guides detect when a character could fly directly to the destination rather than forcing them to pass over the detailed walking directions first. We are pleased to announce that as of Version 14036<\/a>, all guides have been updated to reflect this change.<\/p>\n

Now, if you are a flyer, the guide will direct you in a straight beeline to the destination, with the exception of non-optional paths that must be crossed, or zone to zone travel (if you have prefer flying enabled).<\/p>\n
