New Updater Version Error Message

I tried to download the new version of the Updater and I got this message :

To run this application you first must install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework:
v4.0.20926
Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .Net Framework

This is the first time I have ever had a problem like this so I have no idea what this means......any help would be appreciated.

Run the windows updater. There should be a update in there to update the .Net Framework.

Getting the same error with the same results. But, I have downloaded the Windows updates... I still have the .NET Framework error. Any ideas?

Have you tried an uninstall/reinstall of the .NET Framework?

Just did an update for my Updater. Will confirm there's something buggy with the new Updater. Hopefully Zygor will get it sorted out fast.

Seems like there's another update for the updater.
I did not get any error messages with Win7, only automatic updates installed.

I got that error this morning and did a quick search for 'Framework' and updated to the .Net Framework from the Microsoft site:

.Net Framework 4.0 install link

Worked like a charm after that.

We realized 4.0 framework wasn't as widespread as it seemed. This should be back to normal now, let us know if you are still having problems after trying this again. Thanks
