    Need help with the new updated installer

    I got this error message when trying to install the new updater:

    Do you by chance have any special characters in your password? Things like !@#$%^&*(, etc. Those can sometimes mess with the Updater and the password can be changed in your members area.

      Run the updater as Administrator (rightclick the icon).
      Also a firewall may cause the problem, Bitdefender is known to have issues with the updater so try turning it off.

        Thanks for the replies. I did have special characters in my pw and maybe the firewall was causing some problems.
        I've already managed to reinstall the updater.
        Issue solved.
