    Install button

I just got a new gaming PC and finally playing WoW again after a 3 month break. I tried to hit the all in one down loader to update everything. Now I hit install, and it doesn't do anything. I click on it. It looks like it is going to download, but just goes back to the regular button. It won't do anything.... help.

I am using manual guides temporarily!

EDIT: put in wrong section, pls move

Do you have bit defender? That causes problem try disabling it if you do. Do you have the microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 or newer installed? If not try to google it and installing it if you don't. The newest version is 4.0. Does your password have special characters like %$#@! in it? If it does you need to change it in the members area because the updater doesn't like them. Moving thread to the Account/Installation Issue Forum.

Yes, I bought Defender with my new PC rig. How does it cause this?
If I disable it, wouldn't I be at risk for my PC?

Nodoby figured out why only Bitdefender causes these problems. I think somebody reported that it even happens when you only use Bitdefender antivirus instead of the complete suite. Maybe it has something to do with a web or spam filter that's blocking the traffic.

If you only disable Bitdefender while loading a guide update and enable it afterwards it should be no problem. Especially if you are behind a router.
THe firewalls of those security suites are even less safe than the built in windows firewall.
You can also download the manual installation zip and extract it to the wow\Interface\Addons folder.

Thanks! Did it, worked great. I had to uninstall it completely. I torrented some things like Vegas, AE and PS. So, the keygen would be terminated no matter what. haha
