buy 1 recipe: philosopher's stone
no vendor mentioned

I'm doing all the farming and during each step it jumps ahead to use the recipe. Which I don't have.
Backtrack over and over.
Got all the mats in my bags, but no recipe and no info where to get it.

(It's the vendor Pestlezugg in Gadgetzan, Tanaris, Kalimdor)

(P.s. I flew from Stormwind City to Booty Bay and then took a boat to Kalimdor. Then flew to Gadgetzan)

Bought the recipe and started the queue.

Ended up with a lot of mats leftover and no idea if i'm supposed to save them.

Normally the guides have you farm all the mats that will be needed for any different upcoming recipes so those extras that you have will most likely be used in a future step.

I'll add this to our bug list.

Step 56 tells you to buy Recipe: Philosopher's Stone from the Stormwind Auctioneer. The guide says in the first steps to pick up Herbalism if you want to farm items, rather than buy them from the auctioneer. So basically pick up Herbalism and you will be given new options to farm items and recipes.

I do have herbalism. And bought the recipe. The problem is that the guide will fast forward through steps that HAVE to be completed.
