Need SIMPLE step-by-step instructions on uploading/attaching full-size .jgp images

Topic title basically says it all.

"Need SIMPLE step-by-step instructions on uploading/attaching full-size .jgp images"

I've found it a convoluted procedure, which doesn't work the way I want it to. My images are hard to post/attach to my forum topic, and when they do, they are truncated, and do not display full-size.

My screenshots are taken in WoW in 1280 X 800 screen resolution (sharp and clear, and not truncated). But, I can't figure out how to allow users to see them in the size they were captured in. They are small and truncated, therefore the text is impossible to read. That defeats the purpose of the attachment.

If it's something I've overlooked, I'll certainly appreciate suggestions on just how to do it simply.

There is NO "FAQ" on this subject that I can find.

    Sincerely,
    Larry

The easiest way to accomplish what you want is to use an external image hosting site like ImageShack or similar. Upload your screenshot there, they'll usually give you a link when you do. You use that link in your post and you'll get this:

or this, if it's a direct link to the image:

opposed to this, adding it as an attachment:

If this is the PREFERRED WAY to upload screen captured images for the Zygor forum, then why isn't it addressed on the Zygor site, anwhere?

It would be wonderful if you, and especially somene from the Zygor web site WEB MASTER would provide a simple, step-by-step procedure to do it.

        Example:

        * Describe the process in simple terms ---- in an approprite, PROMINANT, 'Sticky'.
        * Provide the HTML URLS to the DESIRED "3rd-party" links, and...

-- give an outline as to how the process is to be done.

After all, the main purpose is to help ourselves, and other users to solve problems with this game, and Zygor's Guides accompanying this game.

It should have been done, (available) 500 years ago! (Big grin).

I would not recommend Imageshack myself. They have hacking problems more than anyplace else I've found. Try imgur.com they are free and have no restrictions on what you upload to their site except pornography I think. All the images I post that I get from other sites I upload to imgur and the post here on site. Very simple process.

          1. Register on imgur.com
          2. Find the image on a website and right click it and select Save As... and save it somewhere on your computer
          3. Or on your computer find the image you want to upload.
          4. Make sure the screen where you keep your files is small enough to still see imgur's website.
          5. Click and drag the file from you computer and release it when you are over the imgur website.
          6. After it finished uploading (which may take awhile if big) click on it.
          7. You get a box. Under the title Linked BBCode (message boards) is a URL thing.
          8. Right Click on the URL thing and select copy.
          9. Come to your post here on Zygor and right click in the post and select Paste.
          10. Click either Post Quick Reply or Submit Reply if in the Advanced Reply.
          11. Your image is now posted. /Happy Dance

Right above these posts between the Private Messages and Calendar links is the FAQ link.
