Is their some reason you insist people choose the "tell him to leave" option instead of letting them choose?

you realise that if you choose the release the curse option that the kid is returned unharmed and is grateful to be free of the demon.

also at step 311 you can choose "Love" instead of "Revenge" and the person says they never thought of it that way.

note: it seems the guide cant handle you choosing the other option (Cannot determine the current status of quest [questname], the addon is likely to fail) it should be programmed for both options surely.

I do not know the true reason but I would guess that maybe these choices have some kind of impact on quests later down the road.
