ESO Leveling guide problem

I just updated hoping that would fix it but it didn't ;(

So I'm in the 15-25 deeshaan and the pointer is just spinning in circles and the
guide is telling me to goto shadowfen OK so I went to shadowfen with little to no direction from the guide again "pointer still spinning in circles" I went to the location within 0-5m of it, it was a rock not a special rock either just a random piece of scenery.
I won't complain too much yet but for $30 don't run your company like EA please. if the product isn't ready for showtime don't release it!

Is there a configuration I've missed a bug with windows 8.1? is the update I got today for the update ESO had yesterday?

Try using the wrench icon on the Updater (lower right) and re-install the guides to see if that helps.

no that didn't resolve the issue

I had this on a lower level
Found out I had the wrong level selected in the guide

For example 3 to 7
Should have been 7 to cant remember

Yeah I'm in Deshaan I have that zone checked on the box is that what your talking about?

so loading the shadowfen guide did seem to fix it but that zone is a few levels ahead of me yet

When you're in game and open the guide selection window, what does it show in the lower left for the version number?
