i just bought this program and it tells me i have the wrong user name or password, but its the same as the one they sent me (aka the ones i picked) is there some type of waiting period before you can use this program?

No, no waiting period. It might be the \ in your password that is messing with it. Try changing your password to just letters and numbers and test it that way. If it works like that then try adding just one special character for a test. Then you can slowly work toward more special characters but test it each time to be sure it will work.
