The lower arrow is TomTom and it accurately reflects the location of my corpse. The upper arrow is, of course, Zygor which is totally clueless where my body lies.

Next time you see this try disabling all other addons and check to see if it point accurately then. I pointed me right back to my corpse last night with only a minor bug of the distance being wrong but the arrow took me right to it.

As a programmer, I'm applying just a little bit of logic here. I have been a programmer for over 30 years so trust me when I say this . . . if TomTom can get it right, given the addons I've got, Zygor should be able to get it right. I know it's convenient to suggest it's someone else's addon but ultimately, this is a Zygor problem. Something is not clearing or something is calculating wrong. Given the math problems the gear guide is experiencing, I have much more faith that it's a Zygor problem than I do that it's one of my other addons.

It might be something with our addon or it might be an addon conflict of some kind happening. Without proper testing we can't be sure. Since I have a lot of different addons loaded and had no problems with it pointing me to my corpse a couple times last night that means I'm unable to reproduce the same problem you had. If we can't reproduce the problem then we can't find anything that's wrong to fix.

And comparing the Gear System to the Travel System is like comparing apples to oranges. They are two completely different systems.

Under normal circumstances, I would 100% agree with you, but here's the rub: TomTom and Zygor both use the Astrolabe library; however, WoW will load two versions of Astrolabe because Zygor has modified their copy and have it load as a totally different version.

I haven't paid attention to the corpse in the wrong place; maybe I've seen it, maybe I haven't. But now I'm curious and kind of want to compare the two versions of Astrolabe. That will wait for the weekend, at least.
