Frostfire Ridge steps 52-53

When I complete step 52, the waypoint arrow says "go down the path" and directs me to a downward ramp that is blocked by a gate. I jumped over the wall and ran down the path, and then when I got to the hairpin turn, the waypoint arrow pointed back the way I had come, and the directions said to "go up the path".

Eventually I figured out that I needed to go inside the citadel, but the waypoint arrow is wonky on step 53.

I died during Step 80 and when I went to run back, the ant trail was correct but the waypoint arrow pointed in the opposite direction (and distance under waypoint kept increasing as I went the correct way).
